Bidding Bidding

How Does Bidding Work?

You have two basic options when it comes to bidding.

1. The first is to simply click the Bid button. Assuming there is no technical malfunction, your bid will be recorded and your username will be shown as the highest bidder (you are winning). To maintain the highest bid, you will need to keep clicking the Bid button whenever another user outbids you. Timing and close attention to the action are key elements in raising your success rate!

2. The second option is to use the Bid Butler feature. We developed Bid Butler to enable you to participate in an auction while you are away from the computer. A very convenient tool in online Penny Auction action, Bid Butler will enter bids for you based on the limits that you set — how many bids you are willing to spend and when to start placing them!

The key in both instances is to develop your own style and (most definitely) be VERY ATTENTIVE!
Also, as we stated elsewhere in this Help section, watch the other bidders closely (especially the users with the higher success rates) and that will help you get your optimum (winning!) playing style holstered and ready to go when you see an item you want!

How To Buy Bids?

After Registering, you can click Buy Bids in the top navigation bar menu (it appears when you Log In).

A bid is always $0.60, and comes in different sets of Bid Packs. Select the Bid Pack that is right for you and follow the on-screen instructions to finalize your purchase.

Note: Be aware, BidKnight offers special events which may have special Bid Pack Pricing. Should Bidknight Bid Packs have a special price or discount during an event, if a member has purchased a Bid Pack (s) at regular price within 24hrs of the Event, Bidknight will recognize the last or largest Bid Pack (1) purchase prior to the event as part of the event, adjusting the members Bid Account accordingly.

BidKnight accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal and BitCoin.

Now you are ready to start bidding in our many auctions!

What Are Real Bids?

Real Bids are bids purchased in Bid Packs from the Bid Pack Store. These bids can be used toward the Buy Now option, and are eligible for a refund during your first Bid Pack purchase
as long as they havent been used in an auction.

Real Bids differ from Voucher Bids in that you can purchase Real Bids (you can only win Voucher Bids in an auction) and Voucher Bids usage are limited to live auction bidding.

What Are Voucher Bids?

Voucher Bids are bids that are won, acquired through Voucher Bid auctions or received through achieving pre-determined amounts of Reward Points.

Voucher Bids can also be credited in other ways, such as referring friends, or other promotions and special circumstances. These bids cannot be used toward the Buy Now option, nor are
they eligible for a refund.

Voucher Bids won in an auction will NOT count toward any win limits.

Voucher Bids do not expire - rather after 12 months they convert into Reward Points. Each type of bid on BidKnight has a different conversion date. Go to My Account (found in the Login
Nav Bar Menu) and click on Bid History. You will find information such as the date and time the bids went into your account as well as a description, bid types, and the updated number of bids.

1. Real Bids: After 12 months, convert to Voucher Bids.
2. Voucher Bids: After 12 months, convert to Reward Points
3. Reward Points: After 12 months, no converting, just expire.

Not The Highest Bidder?

I Have Placed a Bid But Im Not Currently the Highest Bidder, Why?

BidKnight servers order the bids based on the exact time they were clicked. We have place the speed and accuracy of our Click to Bid bidding system at the top of our
priorities. Our programmers have gone to great to lengths to refine this critical process in order to make Bidknight a fun and profitable experience for you!

So if you see someone elses screen name as highest bidder there may have been numerous other users who placed a bid immediately after you.
